The Doraha police have arrested a resident of Talwandi Madho village in Shahkot, Jalandhar, and recovered a countrymade pistol, magazines and live cartridges from his possession.

SHO, Doraha, Vijay Kumar said Harwinderpal Singh Mathu was arrested by the police and a countrymade pistol, two magazines and 16 cartridges were recovered from him during the search. The police had set up naka near Rajwant Hospital from where the accused was apprehended on suspicion and recoveries were made during the search.
