Guna (Madhya Pradesh): Oxygen plant worth Rs 80 lakh was inaugurated by Panchayat and Rural Development minister Mahendra Singh Sisodia in Bamori on Friday.

He also laid the foundation stone of an additional room with capacity of 30 beds at Bamori hospital worth Rs 24 lakh. After completion of room, Bamori Hospital will be 50-bedded with oxygen plant facility.

Addressing people at inauguration function, Sisodia said Bamori will have a 50-bed hospital. Twenty-bed hospital at Jhagar, 10-bedded hospital in Fatehgarh, 10-bedded hospital at Maraki Mhow and 10-bed hospital in Mayana have come up. Centralized facility of oxygen is available to all.

“I am trying to solve problem of housing of Sahariya tribes. 7,000 houses have been specially sanctioned for Sahariya tribe. Once these houses are built, no person will remain homeless. A network of roads is being laid from all sides in Bamori assembly constituency. Good quality roads are being built,” Sisodia added.

He appealed to people to follow social distancing, wear masks and sanitise hands frequently to stay safe as pandemic is not over yet. Those present at inaugural function include district BJP president Gajendra Singh Sikarwar, collector Frank Noble A, CEO district panchayat Nilesh Parikh and other officials.
