Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A 14-year-old girl was gang-raped by four including her three classmates in Ratibad area of Bhopal, police said on Saturday. The police have arrested all four accused and they are being questioned.
The incident came to light after the girl complained of stomach ache and was taken to a doctor. After medical check-up, the doctor told her family members that girl is pregnant. The victim later revealed the ordeal to family members.
The victim told police that she was raped at an Aanganwadi Centre by one of her classmates in October 2020. Later, two friends of accused also reached the spot and gang-raped her, threatening that they will inform her family members and school administration. The trio accused later informed one of their friends about the incident. The fourth accused also raped her threatening to make her photographs viral on social media.
All four accused raped the victim on many occasions. The victim told the police that the accused had threatened her with dire consequences, if she revealed the incident to anyone.
Ratibad police station incharge Sudhesh Tiwari said all four accused have been arrested. “The medical examination of girl has also been done. The accused will be produced before court soon,” he added.
