Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu’s latest release “Haseen Dillruba” opened to mixed reviews as it released on Netflix yesterday.
As critics shared their take on the film, Taapsee’s archnemesis Kangana Ranaut’s sister Rangoli Chandel also decided to put forth her thoughts on the same.
Rangoli took to her Instagram stories and wrote, "Mafia created fraud is being exposed but only in hush-hush whispers no one is openly saying it, so I decided to do the deed, a single tone actor who has absolutely no screen presence no range no real persona or screen presence, is being pitted against one of the greatest actor’s Indian cinema ever saw...not only she openly mimics and copies Kangana but also calls her irrelevant and double filter, aaj isko bhi critics ne nanga kar diya. Ye gubbara bhi footna hi tha, foot gaya.”
Earlier, Kangana Ranaut reacted to Taapsee Pannu's recent comments about her.
During one of her recent interviews, Taapsee said that she does not miss Kangana’s presence on Twitter as she doesn't hold any relevance in her life.
In May, 2021, Kangana got permanently suspended from the microblogging site for violation of Twitter rules.
While Kangana and Taapsee's feud dates back to August 2019, the former had, on several occasions, taken jibes at the “Thappad” actor on Twitter.
Now, responding to Taapsee's comment about her on Instagram, Kangana claimed that the actress 'begs' producers to give her projects which Kangana has rejected.
Also featuring Vikrant Massey and Harshvardhan Rane, "Haseen Dillruba" features the actors indulge in a game of love, lust, deceit and murder, introduces the audience to Rani Kashyap (played by Taapsee Pannu) who is newly married to Rishu (played Vikrant Massey).
Rishu loses his life in an explosion and Rani becomes the prime suspect in the murder case. How did she end up as a murder suspect? It also highlights Rani's affair with Harshvardhan's character, and portrays her not being the ideal wife, and Rishu being suspicious of her intentions.
The police, headed by CID star Aditya Srivastava, is confident of her being the murderer and now she has to prove herself innocent.
Directed by Vinil Mathew, "Haseen Dillruba" has been written by Kanika Dhillon. It is produced by Anand L Rai's Colour Yellow Production and T-Series.
