Haryana reports 52 new Covid-19 cases, 13 deaths

CHANDIGARH: Haryana on Saturday reported 52 new cases of Covid-19, 13 deaths and 98 recoveries even as seven districts did not report any new case.
No death was reported from 11 districts of the state.
While 14,14,67 got the vaccine jabs duing the day. 10,09,79 were given the first dose while 40,888 were given the second dose. The cumulative coverage of the vaccination reached 93,50,852.
On Covid front, overall count of the state has gone to 76,88,52 cases, 75,81,44 recoveries. There have been 9,474 deaths, number of active cases is 1,234. Of the total active cases, 512 are under home isolation while rest are on ventilator support and oxygen support in hospitals and medical colleges of the state.
Notably, the positivity rate of the day has come down further to 0.16% and the positivity rate of second wave was recorded at 11.20% and cumulative positive rate was recorded at 7.60%.
Except for Palwal which reported highest 10 cases, rest 15 districts have reported less than 10 cases.
Meanwhile, recovery Rate has further gone upto 98.61% and fatality rate was reported at 1.23% . While tests per million population has reached 39,99,95 as 33,364 persons were tested during the day.
Two deaths each were reported from Panipat and Hisar districts while one death each was reported from Karnal, Panchkula, Yamunanangar, Sirsa, Bhiwani, Jhajjar, Fatehabad, Kaithal and Jind districts
