Cincinnati police say they are investigating a fatal hit-skip crash that killed a man riding a bike near his home in Bond Hill early Friday.
Gerard Crumpley, 61, was pedaling west in the 1400 block of Joseph Street when a vehicle traveling in the same direction struck him and drove away, police said in a news release.
The wreck happened sometime before 4:30 a.m., which is when officers arrived at the scene. Crumpley was pronounced dead there.
Police are looking for a blue Honda or Acura with front-end damage driven by a man.
They said they do not know now whether excessive speed or impairment were factors in the crash.
Anyone with information about the wreck is asked to call police at 513-352-2514.
