Fuel Price hike: Petrol price crosses Rs 105 mark in Mumbai

MUMBAI: The petrol price was hiked to Rs 105.24 per litre in Mumbai on Friday morning while the diesel rate remained unchanged at the city pumps.
The price of petrol was hiked to Rs 105.36 per litre in neighbouring Thane and Navi Mumbai.

The increasing price of fuel is burning a hole in the pockets of motorists while transporters too are upset with the rising diesel rates.
Dealers, however, say that the rush at the pumps continues as usual and people are buying expensive fuel for transport even as petrol is retailing at Rs 105 a litre now. It was priced at Rs 76.31 a litre in April last year.
