New Delhi, Jul 2 ((UNI) Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Monday said that it has summoned actress Yami Gautam for questioning in connection with an alleged violation of the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) on July 7 in Mumbai office.
According to a source, she has been asked to appear for questioning and to record her statement in a suspected financial transaction of Rs 1.5 crore in her private bank account, which she did not disclosed to the authorities.
She was issued a summon last year to appear before the probe agency office in Mumbai but due to the pandemic-induced lockdown restrictions, she did not turn up to the ED office there.
