Hytera introduces HyXG O-RAN system for dual-mode 4G/5G

Hytera has introduced a new 4G/5G portfolio that includes its HyXG O-RAN system, made up of a DU (distributed unit) board, an O-BBU (O-baseband unit) and an Edge node, and aimed at the MNO and MNO and vertical industry markets. The company explained that it developed a dual-mode 4G and 5G architecture for HyXG O-RAN so that users can implement 4G or dual-mode 4G/5G networks now, and then easily upgrade to 5G networks in the future.
