Wis. police searching for suspect in fatal shooting; ID victim as 26-year-old Rhinelander woman
Jul. 1—Wisconsin police are looking for a man they suspect of killing a woman and leaving her on the side of a road Wednesday.
Christopher Terrell Anderson, 30, of Rhinelander, Wis., is suspected of fatally shooting Hannah R. Miller, 26, also from Rhinelander. Authorities believe Anderson and Miller were in a relationship. They have a child in common, and the child is safe, authorities said.
Anderson is sometimes called "DJ Bravo" or just "Bravo." He is a Black 5'10" man weighing about 245 pounds, police said. The photo provided to police show him with dreadlocks, but police believe he has short hair now.
He was last seen driving a white 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport with a Wisconsin plate AJR9672. He may also be connected to a 2005 white Chrysler PT Cruiser with a Minnesota plate 187NXC.
The Oneida County Dispatch Center received a 911 call Wednesday reporting a woman lying on the side of River Bend Road near Highway 8 in the town of Pelican which is located in northern Wisconsin.
First responders found the woman had died of a gunshot wound.
Anderson is considered to be armed and dangerous. Police are asking people not to approach him, rather to call 911 or 715-361-5201 with information on his whereabouts.
The Oneida County Sheriff's office is also asking for anyone who was in the area where the woman was found between 10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Wednesday to call in for an interview with a detective. Anyone who is familiar with Anderson or has any information about him is also asked to contact the Sheriff's office.
Those living in the area are asked to check their surveillance cameras to see if either vehicles are seen on them.
