Social network giants pledge to tackle abuse of women online

Facebook, Google, TikTok and Twitter have jointly committed to a series of measures designed to tackle online abuse and improve women's safety on their platforms. The companies signed up to the pledge at the UN Generation Equality Forum in Paris following consultations with the World Wide Web Foundation (WWWF).
