Yami Gautam summoned by ED for an alleged violation of the Foreign Exchange Management Act
Today, Yami Gautam is summoned by the Enforcement Directorate in an alleged violation of the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA).

On Friday, ‘Uri: The surgical strike’ actress has been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). The actress is has been reportedly called for questioning by the ED in an alleged violation of the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA), According to the news agency ANI.
The ED has asked the actress to appear before the federal agency on July 7 for questioning and to record her statement. The alleged violation is of a suspected foreign monetary transaction in her private bank account which was not informed to the authorities by her.
The actress’s case is being investigated by Zone 2 of ED. As per the reports, this is the second time that the actress has been summoned by the ED. According to a report by India Today, the transaction is said to come under the ED scanner after a primary investigation where the bank accounts were found connected to that of the actress and thereafter, the summons was issued. The reports also added that “Currently, many big-banner Bollywood films are under the ED scanner for money laundering.”
Meanwhile, the ‘Kaabil’ actress Yami Gautam had tied the knot with director Aditya Dhar in an intimate wedding last month.
