Imphal, July 01 2021: Rina Akoijam, an IRS officer of 1997 batch has assumed charge as Director General of Audit (Infrastructure), New Delhi, today.

She is a post graduate in English Literature from Delhi University.

Prior to her posting, she has served in various capacities including as Principal Director of Commercial Audit & Ex Officio Member Audit Board III, New Delhi.

She was on foreign assignment programme as Programme Manager at the INTOSAI Development Initiative (IDI), Oslo, Norway, where she managed capacity development programmes for Supreme Audit Institutions in the Asia Pacific Region.

She has also conducted international audits including the audit of UNICEF Headquarters at New York, UNICEF Supplies Division at Copenhagen, Denmark.

Rina is also an INTOSAI certified Training Specialist and has contributed as a resource person in various National and International programmes.

She is eldest daughter of Akoijam Ranbir and Akoijam ongbi Chitrasakhi from Kwakeithel Nganapithong.
