Cell C wants ZAR 4 bln of fresh capital - report

Cell C is in advanced talks with FirstRand unit Rand Merchant Bank and Investec to provide the South African mobile operator with about ZAR 4 billion of fresh capital, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the matter. The company, partly owned by Blue Label Telecoms, is nearing the end of a recapitalisation plan to pay down debt, said the sources, who asked not to be identified as the information is still private.
