Bagh (Dhar district, Madhya Pradesh): The members of JAYAS (Jai Adivasi Yuva Shakti Sangathan) submitted a memorandum to police station incharge Rohit Kachhawa and nayab tehsildar on Thursday demanding action against people behind rape and murder of four tribal women.

According to JAYAS, the heinous act was committed one-and-a-half months back but came to light recently. Four women of the same tribal family were raped and murdered and their bodies were buried 10 feet deep beneath the ground and were covered with salt and urea.

As per memorandum, an eminent resident of Nemawar committed the act with his companions. His mother along with three minor children were also involved in the massacre.

JAYAS has demanded investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and death penalty against the accused. The organisation has demanded financial support to victim’s family. The memorandum was addressed to Governor, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

Bagh JAYAS patron Bhairusingh Anare, Bagh JAYAS president Samarth Gehlod, village president Mohan Anare were present at the time of submitting memorandum.
