Navi Mumbai: Navi Mumbai region has seen a spike in new
Covid-19 cases. The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) said that 146 people tested positive for the virus on Wednesday (June 30).
Over the last week, the region had reported new cases below 100.
With the addition of new cases, the overall count has increased to 1,00,734.
Six people also succumbed to the virus, taking the overall death count to 1,751.
Whereas, 81 people were discharged from hospitals after making recovery. So far, 97,375 people have been discharged.
Currently, 1,610 people are taking treatment. 418 people are in home isolation.
Of the 146 new cases, the
Belapur area reported 25 cases, followed by 22 in
Vashi, 21 each in Koparkhairne and Airoli, 20 in
Turbhe, 19 in Nerul, 16 in Ghansoli, and two in Digha.
