The School Education Department (SED) has resumed community classes for students across Jammu & Kashmir. This comes in the wake of significant improvement in the situation and overall decrease in the number of positive cases of Covid-19 across the state.

Following the instructions of the Principal Secretary of SED, the district education authorities in Baramulla have issued a circular instructing the respective heads of schools to conduct open-air classes for the students at community level.

Schools in Kashmir have been shut for several months due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
