NEW DELHI. Tibetan Youth Congress members were detained by Delhi Police on Thursday, while they were staging a protest in front of the Chinese Embassy in New Delhi against the centenary celebrations of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

As per news agency ANI, dozens of Tibet nationals in exile gathered at the Chinese Embassy to protest the cruelty and brutality of the CCP and to send the message that they were putting up an united front against it. However their forceful eviction led to an outrage on Twitter where many Indian users opposed the police brutality.

'We should let more Tibetans protest'

'Where was this bravado when dealing with Shaheen Bagh protesters, who blocked roads for months'

'Indian government lacks spine'

'Tibetans should be given Indian citizenship'

'We can only ban Tik Tok'
