AgenciesSwadesh Behera, has taken charge as Chief People Officer, with effect from July 1, 2021. Prior to this, Behera was Senior Director–HR at Boston Scientific Corporation (BSC).
Behera is a seasoned HR leader whose areas of expertise include building a robust a leadership pipeline, developing top talent, cogent succession planning and helping organisations grow and thrive.
His erstwhile experience includes spearheading the Human Resources function in large Multinational and Indian organizations like Boston Scientific Corporation, Merck, , Coke and Tata Steel.
Behera has completed his Post Graduate Degree in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (T.I.S.S), Mumbai and Post Graduate Degree in Sociology from the Central University of Hyderabad.
He has extensive change management experience which encompasses setting up Greenfield operations, building capability, talent acquisition during high growth phases of business, implementing appropriate HR interventions, Employee Transition Management during business closures and many other initiatives and programmes.
