Physical Rubber prices extended weakness on Wednesday. Concerns over rising Covid-19 infections adding more pressure on commodity prices globally. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety declined to Rs 167/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 167.50/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety fell to Rs 164.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 165/ kg.
In the futures market, July delivery lost to Rs 172.20 compared to its previous closing of Rs 172.68 on the Indian Commodity Exchange Limited (ICEX).
