Realme launches Buds 2 Neo earphones, beard trimmers, and hairdryer in India

Realme has launched four new products in India and none of them is a smartphone for a change. Realme's evergreen launch cycle for phones barely takes a pause, but this time the company held an event to focus on its AIoT portfolio. Realme TechLife, the arm for smart home and smart care gadgets, Thursday launched two new beard trimmers and a hairdryer as a part of the 1+5+T strategy that the company announced back at the GT 5G global launch event. Realme has also launched a new pair of wired earphones in India.

The four products are called Realme Beard Trimmer Plus, Realme Beard Trimmer, Realme Hair Dryer, and the Realme Buds 2 Neo. And this is just the tip of the products that Realme has planned for its TechLife brand. India Today Tech reported previously that you can expect the Realme Robot Vacuum, among other things, to arrive in India ahead of Diwali. Realme also has speakers planned for the India launch but there is not much information about them right now. Realme already sells a pair of portable speakers in some Asian markets.

Realme Buds 2 Neo price and specifications

Realme Buds 2 Neo earphones cost Rs 499 and are now available to buy from Flipkart, Amazon, Realme's online store, and mainline channels. These earphones come in black and blue colours.

The Realme Buds 2 Neo are wired earphones with an 11.2 mm dynamic driver that gives out a bass-heavy sound. You will like these earphones if you mostly listen to funky Bollywood and EDM tracks. There is a single button on these earphones and it lets you play or pause music or take or reject calls on your phone. The wire of the earphones is designed for a tangle-free experience, according to Realme.

Realme Beard Trimmer Plus price and specifications

Realme's Beard Trimmer Plus costs Rs 1,999 and it will be on sale from July 5 at noon on Flipkart, Realme online store, and mainline stores.

The Realme Beard Trimmer Plus comes with two combs, 10mm and 20mm, along with 40 different length settings. Because of this, you will be able to shape your beard with more accuracy. It has a low-noise operation, so you can even use it at night. Realme said the Beard Trimmer Plus gives a runtime of 120 hours on a single charge, and that is going to be its selling point. You can use the trimmer with or without the cord. It comes with an IPX7 rating for water resistance, as well. There is a Travel Lock, as well, for when you are travelling with the trimmer kept between other things in a bag to avoid any damage to them.

Realme Beard Trimmer price and specifications

The Realme Beard Trimmer costs Rs 1,299 and it will also go on sale starting at 12 pm on July 5 from Flipkart, Realme online store, and mainline stores.

The Realme Beard Trimmer has everything similar to the Beard Trimmer Plus except for the two-comb support. It has just a 10mm comb and supports 20 length settings for beard-shaping.

Realme Hair Dryer price and specifications

Realme's new Hair Dryer comes at a price of Rs 1,999 and will go on sale at 12 pm on July 5 on Flipkart, Realme's online store, and mainline channels.

Realme Hair Dryer has a 1400W motor inside that can generate a wind speed of up to 13.8mps. There are two wind speed levels to dry your hair - soft wind and strong wind. The latter uses hotter air to blow-dry your hair. There is a 5-minute quick-dry feature available, as well. Realme is touting something called negative-ion technology that is supposed to "give your hair more comprehensive and deeper care" using 20 million negative ions per cubic centimetre. There is a three-layer mesh to prevent your hair from getting sucked into the backside of the hairdryer.
