The Falcons defeated the Jets 20-2 on Wednesday in Atlanta.
Never mind, it was a baseball game that took place. The Mets were demolished by their NL East rival Braves in a deflating loss that has shrunk their division lead down to two games. They lost another pitcher to an injury in David Peterson, who got shelled. It was another day where the bats did next to nothing. It all comes with Part I of the Subway Series coming this weekend in The Bronx.
