GURUGRAM: A 35-year-old woman was allegedly threatened and abused by two persons in
Sector 57 on Tuesday after the duo rammed their vehicle into her car. The woman told
police that the duo started misbehaving with her when she tried to call the police control room. No arrests have been made so far.
Complainant Asha Rathi, a resident of Sector 47, was heading towards
Golf Course Road from her house in Sector 47 at 10am in her Honda City when the incident happened. “When I reached near Presidium School in Sector 57, a speeding Renault Duster hit my car from the rear end,” said Rathi. She confronted the duo, who then started abusing her, she said. She alleged the accused were driving at high speed.
“The two men sitting inside the Duster started shouting at me and threatened to teach me a lesson in two minutes,” said Rathi, adding that she informed cops and a team from Sector 56 police station reached the spot within minutes.
An FIR was registered under sections 279 (rash driving), 336 (whoever does any act so rashly or negligently as to endanger human life or the personal safety of others), 34 (common intention), 427 (mischief and thereby causes loss or damage) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC. The duo were identified as Ranpal Singh and Sanish Singh.
