Indian opener Rohit Sharma, who is in England right now for the five-match Test series, is enjoying his well-deserved break out of the bio-bubble. Amid all this, the batsman also got time to sell his property which was based out of Lonavala, in Maharashtra for INR 5.25 crores.
The humongous house, which was 6259 square feet, was registered by the 34-year-old on June 1. On May 29, 2021, the deal was officially finalised, and the right-hand batter paid stamp duty of 26 lakh too.
The limited-overs vice-captain, due to reasons unknown, had to sell the property, according to a report in Moneycontrol.com. Apart from the name of the buyer - Sushma Ashok Saraf - there are not many details available on who brought the huge mansion.
Lonavla is one of the popular weekend destinations especially for people from Mumbai and Pune as many residents have purchased their second home there.
