HYDERABAD: Jubilee Hills police on Tuesday registered a criminal intimidation case against the son-in-law and a relative following a complaint by the chairman of a private hospital. The complainant,alleged that his son-in-law Suraj and relative Raja Rao, have been threatening him. “The complainant said that he had announced to give 70 per cent of his assets to an NGO operated by him and some of his family members were against this proposal,” a police official said. “On Monday night, Suraj came to my house and picked up an argument about sharing of my assets. He threatened me by referring to a firearm,” the complainant said. The hospital chairman also alleged that Raja Rao had been threatening him and both Suraj and Rao had been illegally monitoring the activity of his cellphone. No arrests have been made yet.
