UP has decided to get rid of BJP: Akhilesh Yadav

Lucknow, Jul 1 (UNI) Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav on Thursday claimed that people of Uttar Pradesh want a change and the 2022 Assembly polls will be a great opportunity for the voters to get rid of the "failed BJP government".

"The people of UP wants a change now. People will vote for change. Since the day, BJP formed government in UP it has forgot its Sankalp Patra. I think BJP has thrown its Sankalp Patra in garbage," he told reporters here at the state party headquarters on his 48th birthday.

He alleged that BJP don't want to hold debate on real matters like unemployment and inflation.

He said Samajwadi Party to come up with alliance small political parties in the 2022 assembly polls.

Talking about the recently concluded Panchayat polls in the state, Mr Yadav said , BJP tried to influence results, still they faced defeat.

" Now just to gain dominance, they've given free hand to DM, SP to make elections (results) in their favour. With money & admin power BJP is manipulating elections of the district panchayat chairman polls," he further charged the UP government.
