Chinese electric car company Nio Inc. shares

rose 3% in premarket trade Thursday, after it reported record monthly deliveries for June. Shanghai-based Nio said it delivered 8,083 vehicles in the month, up 116.1% from the same time a year ago. For the quarter to end June, the company delivered a record of 21,896 vehicles, up 111.9% from a year ago. "The deliveries consisted of 1,498 ES8s, the company's six-seater or seven-seater flagship premium smart electric SUV, 3,755 ES6s, the company's five-seater high-performance premium smart electric SUV, and 2,830 EC6s, the company's five-seater premium smart electric coupe SUV," Nio said in a statement. As of end June, cumulative deliveries of the ES8, ES6 and EC6 totaled 117,597 vehicles. Shares have gained 9% in the year to date, while rival Telsa Inc. shares
