GUWAHATI, July 1: In a fresh order, Kamrup deputy commissioner Kailash Karthik N has prohibited entry of any unauthorised person/persons within the radius of 100 meters of any vital installation of OIL/ASEB/BSNL/LPG bottling plants under section 144 of Cr PC, throughout the Kamrup district with immediate effect. The order shall remain in force until further instructions, an official release here said.

There has been a spate of subversive activities whereby anti-social elements including militants have caused serious damage to vital installations/pipelines of OIL/ Railway tracks etc. creating threat to the security of vital installations and human life and properties by explosive bombs/grenades etc, the release said.

Such further acts of subversion/sabotage by explosion of bombs/grenades etc. cannot be ruled out, occurring elsewhere in the district, which can create danger to vital installations of OIL/ASEB/BSNL/LPG Bottling Plant/ Railway Station/ Railway track etc and cause danger to human life and property, it added.
