We have been informed by AMCs about the communication received from AMFI on the captioned subject.

Accordingly, the ARN of the MFDs who are required to change their names pursuant to amendments to SEBI (Investment Advisers) Regulations, 2013, but have not still complied, shall be treated as invalid w.e.f. July 1, 2021. Consequently, any financial transactions received on or after July 1, 2021 from / under ARN of such noncompliant MFDs shall be processed in accordance with AMFI guidelines on Standard Process for treatment of business received through suspended distributors as mentioned in AMFI Best Practices Guidelines Circular No.81 / 2019-20 dated Sept. 24, 2019

MFIs / MFDs /RIAs are requested to take note of the same.
