TATA ELXSI at All Time High; BSE IT Index Up 0.7%

TATA ELXSI share price has hit an all-time high at Rs 4,171 (up 3.6%).
Meanwhile, the BSE IT Index is at 30,132 (up 0.7%).
Among the top gainers in the BSE IT Index today are TATA ELXSI (up 3.6%) and L&T INFOTECH (up 0.5%).
HEXAWARE TECHNOLOGIES and TCS are among the top losers today.
Over the last one year, TATA ELXSI has moved up from Rs 898 to Rs 4,171, registering a gain of Rs 3,274 (up 362.0%).
The BSE IT has moved up from 14,895 to 30,132, registering a gain of 15,237 points (up 101.9%) during the last 12 months.
The top gainers among the BSE IT Index stocks during this same period were INTELLECT DESIGN (up 546.4%), FIRSTSOURCE SOLUTIONS (up 402.5%) and TATA ELXSI (up 362.0%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?
The BSE Sensex is at 52,764 (up 0.4%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are MARUTI SUZUKI (up 2.1%), TITAN (up 1.1%) and INFOSYS (up 0.9%). Other gainers include M&M (up 0.9%) and TATA STEEL (up 0.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ONGC and ITC.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 15,813 (up 0.4%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include MARUTI SUZUKI (up 2.0%), JSW STEEL (up 1.3%) and HINDALCO (up 1.2%). Other gainers include TITAN (up 1.2%) and TATA CONSUMER (up 1.1%).
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 34,962 to 52,764, registering a gain of 17,802 points (up 50.9%).
TATA ELXSI Financial Update...
TATA ELXSI net profit stood at Rs 1 billion for the quarter ended March 2021, compared to a profit of Rs 1 billion a year ago. Net Sales rose 8.7% to Rs 5.2 billion during the period as against Rs 4.8 billion in January-March 2020.
For the year ended March 2021, TATA ELXSI reported 43.7% increase in net profit to Rs 3.7 billion compared to net profit of Rs 2.6 billion during FY20.
Revenue of the company grew 13.4% to Rs 18 billion during FY21.
The current Price to earnings ratio of TATA ELXSI, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 70.2x.
