A poisonous snake was rescued from a house in an old town area in Odisha’s Bhubaneswar on Wednesday. After the 4-ft long snake was spotted by the family, the founder of Snake helpline Subhendu Mallick was informed who rescued the snake and then released it into its natural habitat. Due to the monsoon, the sighting of reptiles has increased in and around human households in coastal areas. The snake rescue helpline expert has advised people to cover holes, drain outlets to keep reptiles at bay.
