Nike has given its classic Air Force 1 shoe a deceptive makeover.
The sportswear giant recently released a new women’s exclusive colorway of the Air Force 1 Low and certain sizes have already sold out.
The shoe appears to feature a clean white-based leather upper, but the material has been treated with photochromic inks that give the shoe a new multicolored makeup. When the shoe is exposed to UV rays, an orange leather hue serves as the base of the upper that’s paired with a light blue mudguard, a red heel counter, and a red Swoosh. Rounding out the look of the shoe is a white midsole and a translucent blue outsole. The shoe also comes with a Silicone Swoosh hangtag that also functions as an ice cube tray.
This women’s exclusive iteration of the Nike Air Force 1 Low is available now at Nike.com but hurry as sizes for the shoe have started selling out while women’s sizes 5, and 6 to 9 still remain. The shoe also comes with a $110 price tag.
The Nike Air Force 1 debuted in 1982 and since then, the shoe went from being a popular basketball shoe to a lifestyle and streetwear staple thanks to collaborations with brands including Louis Vuitton and Off-White.
