Sick kids are suffering enough

I’d like to thank Tammy Bruce for her comments on the Make-A-Wish Foundation (“The Make-A-Wish Foundation falls prey to COVID Derangement Syndrome,” Web, June 29). The very sick children who benefit from the largesse of Make-A-Wish Foundation donors should not be vaccinated simply so the organization can feel righteous. These children are sick enough already, and we can only hope that they will survive another year.

As a mother of a child who benefitted from the good goals of this foundation and who unfortunately died a short while later, I can say that I would never vaccinate a small and a very sick child.
