Watch: Fernando Tatis Jr. signs autographs for fans after Reds-Padres game at GABP
The Reds-Padres game at Great American Ball Park on Tuesday night didn't start until 8 p.m. because of a weather delay, and didn't end until just before midnight after lasting three hours and 50 minutes.

But in a video from the Padres' official Twitter account shared widely Wednesday on social media, Padres star Fernando Tatis Jr. - who entered the day tied with former Middletown High School standout Kyle Schwarber of the Washington Nationals for the National League lead in home runs with 25 - returned to the field to sign autographs for a young fan he'd given a baseball to during the game, and his friends:
Tatis heard "overrated" chants from the crowd at GABP throughout each of his six plate appearances Tuesday night. He singled, and walked three times.
In 35 career plate appearances over eight games against the Reds, Tatis has a .370 batting average and 1.218 on-base + slugging percentage, with nine runs, a double, a triple, two homers, three stolen bases, eight walks and seven strikeouts.
