New
Delhi
On the 2022
Nissan Aruya EV, Nissan has come up with a new and digital-friendly logo. Other
carmakers like BMW and Volkswagen have also announced a similar decision.
Volkswagen has
got a new emblem whereas BMW has redesigned its badge. Nissan has also followed
these two leading brands. It has resigned its logo with 20200 Ariya, an
all-electric crossover. This is the first automobile that will showcase the new
logo of the brand.
The new logo has
a circle intersected by the name of the brand in capital letters. The name is
more freestanding in the new logo and has less of a physical connection to the
circle that intersects it. In the new logo, the circle is incomplete and the
name of the brand, Nissan, bisects it while there was a solid circle
in the old logo. Another feature that should be noticed is the spacing of the
letters.
The design
process was started in 2017 with the aim to make the logo flexible, light, and
thin. Also, the logo should look good on future EV models.
