Friends from film fraternity pays condolences to director Raj Kaushal, says ‘Gone too soon’

Mandira Bedi’s husband Raj Kaushal left for heavenly abode today early morning, Tisca Chopra Rohit Bose Roy and other celebs mourn his demise.

Actress and host Mandira Bedi’s spouse, director and producer Raj Kaushal passed away early today morning following a cardiac arrest. He was in his 50s.

Actor Rohit Roy announced this news to news agency PTI saying, “He passed away today morning, at around 4.30 am at his home. He had a heart attack.”

Arshad Warsi, who starred in Kaushal’s last directorial movie – the 2006 thriller, ‘Anthony Kaun Hai?’, paid tribute to his “dear friend” and offered condolences to the family.

“Today I lost a very dear friend, my condolences to his family. Known Raj Kaushal, for years, done a film with him, enjoyed every minute of his company. I have never seen a frown on his face, he was always smiling, always there if you needed him…will miss you, brother… RIP,” Warsi wrote.

Anupam Kher shared two photos of Raj Kaushal with his family and wrote, “Deeply saddened & shocked to know about the sudden demise of #RajKaushal! A friend, a film maker & a very positive man. Have some great memories of working with him & spending time with him few years back. Sorry dearest @mandybedi & family for your irreparable loss. #OmShanti.”

Manoj Bajpayee also wrote a note on the death of his dear friend Raj Kaushal. He wrote, “No news can be more shocking and tragic for us personally than loosing our dear friend and a fantastic human being Raj kaushal !! It will definitely take time to come to terms with this loss!! Rest in peace my friend.”
