COVID: Mah NCP pauses party tour for second time

Hingoli, Jun 29 (UNI) Maharashtra Water Resources Minister and NCP state president Jayant Patil on Tuesday announced that the party is suspending the dialogue tour (Samvad Yatra) in the state due to corona restrictions announced by the government in view possible of third wave of Covid and Delta plus virus.
Addressing a press conference here on his sixth day of tour, Mr Patil said that the second phase of the NCP Family Dialogue Tour was started from June 24 with the visit of Tuljapur Maa Tulja Bhavani from Marathwada.
Mr Patil surveyed many districts. Vidarbha, Marathwada got good response to the NCP Parivar Samvad Yatra.
During the visit, he appealed to the NCP workers and office bearers to set up booth committees and focus on strengthening the organisation.
Mr Patil said that the NCP office bearers have been instructed to work hard to keep the ''communal forces'' out of power.
Wherever the NCP Parivar Samvad Yatra took place in Marathwada, the Congress and Shiv Sena office bearers of Maha Vikas Aghadi welcomed them and also paid a visit to the venue, he said.

Therefore, it is clear from this that the MVA is working very hard. Discussions were also held on how to coordinate among the party workers in the government, he added.

In the first phase, the NCP had organised a dialogue yatra in Vidarbha in 82 assembly constituencies. It surveyed 62 constituencies in 11 districts of Vidarbha.
Also 20 constituencies in Khandesh district were surveyed.

Mr Patil also clarified that the yatra will start from Parbhani district when corona infections ebb.
