The Mumbai man was booked for raping a 31-year girl in the greed of marriage.
Sexual assault seems unstoppable, no matter to what extent the law gets strict. A 31-year-old lady in Madhya Pradesh`s Bhopal was brutally raped at a posh hotel in September. It was found that a Mumbai man identified as a builder was booked by Koh-e-Fiza.
The investigating officer said that the survivor came in contact with the accused through a matrimonial website.
“He promised to marry her and asked the survivor to book a venue for their marriage at a hotel in Bhopal. She Booked the venue at a posh hotel for five days," said the officer.
On the day of the wedding when the Priest did not come for the ceremony both of them spent the night together where the accused forcefully assaulted her and recorded obscene videos of the survivors. He further used the video to threatened her and forcefully raped her for two days in a row.
Later the accused had blocked all the possible contacts and flee to Mumbai. After nine months the survivor finally lodged the complaint and the search is underway.
