NEW DELHI: The ministry of home affairs on Tuesday asked states to carry out "carefully calibrated" process of relaxing Covid-19 restrictions. The Centre directed the states to focus on the five-fold strategy of Covid-19 management - test, track, treat, vaccination, Covid-appropriate behaviour. "States should closely monitor case positivity, bed occupancy on regular basis, taking districts as administrative units. Any early sign of increase in case positivity rate, higher bed occupancy, action should be taken for containment," MHA told states.
