Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Jun 28 (UNI) Maharashtra and District Guardian Minister Subhash Desai on Monday said that in the light of upcoming third wave of coronavirus, the rural health care system in the district should be equipped and the treatment system should be equipped with updated machinery to keep the health of the children intact.
While speaking at a meeting held to review various developmental works of Zilla Parishad at the collector's office here, he said that the Zilla Parishad's health system should act as a role model for others in provision of health facilities.
Similarly, Aurangabad district was asked to submit a proposal required for planning for providing such facilities and act as a role model for the health system, he said.
He instructed the district collector to submit a detailed proposal after reviewing ambitious Mission Ubhari 2.0 initiative that is being implemented in the district for the farmers who have committed suicide since the outbreak of the corona pandemic.
Mr Desai said that health care in rural areas, including primary health centres, rural hospitals, oxygen production capacity of oxygen plant and vaccination as well as other development works, including education, water supply, road construction, repair of Nizam-era schools, implementation of innovative schemes should be done in a timely and planned manner, he added.
