LUDHIANA: Doctors will again go on a strike at government hospitals of Ludhiana on Monday against the government’s move of reducing their perks in the sixth pay commission. On Friday, too, the doctors had observed a strike to protest against the government for “disappointing them and reducing the non-practicing allowance (NPA)”. President of Punjab Civil Medical Service (PCMS) for civil hospital Dr Kulwant Singh said OPD services would be affected, but emergency services would function normally.
