India's new missile Agri Prime test-fired off Odisha coast, has a strike range 2000 Kms

A new Agni-series missile Agni-Prime was successfully test-fired at Dr Abdul Kalam Island off the coast of Odisha at 10.55 am today

Agni series advanced missile Agni Prime has been successfully test-fired. Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) developed nuclear capability missile was test-fired off the Chandipur coast of Odisha. According to scientists, the range of this new missile is from 1000 - 2000 kilometres.

A new Agni-series missile Agni-Prime was successfully test-fired at Dr Abdul Kalam Island off the coast of Odisha at 10.55 am today. The new nuclear-capable missile is made entirely of composite material. It is reported that the missile has been found accurate on all parameters during the test.

A DRDO official on Agni Prime missile said, "It follows the Testbook trajectory, fulfilling all the mission objectives with a high degree of accuracy." and is much smaller and lighter than other missiles of this class. Many new technologies have been incorporated in the new missile."

According to scientists, the missile with the developed nuclear capability of the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) has a range of 1 thousand to 2 thousand kilometres, which means the enemy warships can be destroyed up to 2,000 kilometres away. Agni-Prime is capable of attacking with nuclear weapons it can be inducted into the Indian Army soon. Let us tell you that India first test-fired the Agni missile in the year 1989. At that time the range of Agni missile was about 700 to 900 km. After this, it was included in the Indian Army in the year 2004. Since then, India has launched 5 missiles of the Agni series.
