Dismissing reports of internal squabbling in the state BJP,
Union parliamentary affairs minister Pralhad Joshi said the state government is “not on a ventilator. The lungs of this government are functioning well and hence, there is no need for a ventilator. The administration under
BS Yediyurappa is good and the high command too has hailed his work,” he said.
He also claimed the BJP house is in order.
“Some MLAs had visited
Suttur mutt to pay homage to the seer’s mother who passed away recently. It is not correct to politicize the visit,” he said.
On minister CP Yogeeshwara’s statement that some MLAs have written exams and it’s up to the high command to pass or fail them, Joshi said he does not know in which university the former wrote the exam.
“BJP’s national general secretary in-charge of Karnataka Arun Singh has already given the result in favour of the CM,” he added.
Congress sees more aspirants for CM’s postAt a time when Congress is fighting fire over the chief ministerial aspirations of former CM Siddaramaiah and KPCC president
DK Shivakumar, MLA MB
Patil has hinted that there are more aspirants.
“Who does not have high aspirations? There is nothing wrong. But one should not be greedy,” said a cryptic Patil after his visit to Suttur mutt in Mysuru. At the end of the day only a mass leader with sizeable MLAs supporting him will become the CM, he said.
