Mumbai News LIVE: City reports 746 new COVID-19 cases, state to remain under 'Level 3' restrictions

Mumbai city on Sunday reported 746 new COVID-19 cases, however, on a positive note, 1,295 people also recovered. Whereas, 13 people succumbed to the virus. At present, 8,582 people are taking treatment. Thane city reported 99 new COVID-19 cases. Meanwhile, level-3 restrictions begin in the state in view of cases of the Delta plus variant of COVID-19 emerging in the state. Essential shops and establishments can remain open till 4 pm on all days, while non-essential till 4 pm on weekdays. Restaurants will be allowed a dine-in facility with 50 per cent capacity till 4 pm on weekdays and takeaways and home deliveries after that.Read Less

Mumbai: Most airlines putting out cheap fares for travel in August-Oct

Mumbai: Conventionally, airfares cool in June and July. This year, fares are high as the government hiked its lowest fare cap by around 15% for travel in June-July.
