Delhi news live: Over 2 lakh Covid vaccine doses administered on Monday

Gyms and yoga institutes will reopen today with 50% capacity — exactly 69 days after these facilities were closed to curb the spread of Covid-19. The ban on weddings in public places will be relaxed too. However, though the number of fresh Covid-19 cases has dipped to a one-year low, the cap of 50% seating and no standing in public transport has not been relaxed to keep the pandemic under control. The national capital saw 89 fresh Covid-19 cases on Sunday, the second day in a row that the figure remained below 90, with a positivity rate of 0.12%. The number of Covid-19 patients who recovered or got discharged in the last 24 hours was 285, more than three times the number of fresh cases. As a result, the number of active Covid cases has gone down to 1,568. Stay with TOI for all the latest updates:Read Less
