Kolkata, Jun 28 (UNI) The existing restriction or virtual lockdown across West Bengal to be continued up to July 15 with some relaxation on the movement of private and state buses, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced today.
The movement of suburban trains and Metro Railway will continue to
remain suspended up to July 15 for now, she told reporters at Nabanna, the state secretariat.
" Government buses, private buses will be able to carry 50 per cent of passengers. However, for the time being, there are restrictions on local trains and Metros due to the pandemic ( Covid -19)" Chief
Minister Mamata Banerjee has announced.
" Salons and parlours could be kept open from 11 am to 6 pm with 50 per cent customers. The vegetable and fish market will be open from 8 am to 12 noon. All other shops can be kept open from 11 am to 8 pm. The gym can be opened with 50 per cent people. Restrictions are in force from 9 pm to 5 am except for urgent needs. All private offices can be opened with 50 per cent staff. All private
offices can be kept open from 10 am to 4 pm. The company has to arrange the transportation of the employees themselves. The next step will be taken after judging the situation with some concessions," she added.
