Scrap metal stolen

Nashik, Jun 28 (UNI) A case has been registered at Satpur Police Station in connection with the theft of scrap metal worth more than Rs 7 lakh from ABB India company in Satpyr MIDC area today
According to police sources, an attempt was made to steal the scrap metal from the ABB company with the connivance of four persons, including a representative of the scrap dealer, a security guard and a weighing worker. The four had tried to smuggle goods worth over Rs 7 lakh. Three of the suspects have been arrested.
According to ABB India scrap dealer in Satpur industrial estate, two employees carrying scrap metal in Eicher Tempo (M. H. 15 EG 1698), security guards of the company and weighing scales have conspired to steal the goods and alter the weight scales. The police investigation has concluded.
A case has been registered in this regard at Satpur police station on the complaint of police officer Gokul Kasar. Three persons have been arrested and further investigations are being conducted by the police under the guidance of senior police inspector Kishor More.
