A verbal complaint was lodged in the Electronics Complex police station in his name, after which he was called to the police station for questioning. That’s when Debanjan’s parents found out that his son’s IAS identity was fake.

Meanwhile, Debanjan rented the Kasbar office by September-October 2020. Debanjan said in the interrogation that he had rented the office from a person named Ashok Roy. He used to pay 75,000 rupees a month to Ashok Roy for the rent of that office. Investigators are investigating the claim. If necessary, the necessary documents may be required from Ashok Roy to know what he talked to Ashok Roy or what office Debanjan hired to do. Detectives can even talk to him.

During the interrogation, Debanjan said that he had carried out raids with IAS identity many times. News of the campaign with pictures of Debanjan has also been published through various news outlets. Detectives searched Debanjan’s house and office on Sunday. Several documents, stamps, hallgrams were recovered from there. However, no secret locker was found in the house during the search. 3 Android mobiles, a laptop and 5 hard disks were recovered from the house. According to the interrogation, he used 3 mobiles for three different purposes. But most of the conversations were on WhatsApp or VOIP. It has been seen that some chats have been deleted in WhatsApp of 2 mobiles. However, all those conversations have been rescued from the backup.

Multiple information has been found from the call list of Devanjan’s fan. It is being investigated who he used to talk to in his dreams. Lots of pictures and videos were found on the hard disk. Investigators believe Debanjan used the video to exert influence.
