All-party meet convened by CM to discuss about implementation of DWS underway

Hyderabad, Jun 27 (UNI) An all-party meeting, convened by Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to discuss the implementation of CM's Dalit Empowerment Scheme to be launched in the state, was underway here on Sunday.
MPs, MLAs and MLCs of all parties were invited to attend the meeting which is also expected to discuss ways to empower the dalits under the Below Poverty Line (BPL), according to sources.
Congress Legislature Party leader Bhatti Vikramarka ,Chada Venkat Reddy of CPI (M), Tamineni Veerabhadram (CPI), Balala and Pasha Khadri from Majlis and Mothukupalli Narashimulu from BJP attended the meeting being held at the Pragathi Bhavan, the CM's camp office-cum-official residence.
Addressing the meeting, the Chief Minister said that the government has a role to play in ensuring the well-being of the society and added that if the governments fail in this regard future generations will be at a loss.
Mr Rao said that the government was preparing various schemes for the upliftment of poor SCs.
