Zirakpur: A 46-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a hit-and-run on the Chandigarh-Ambala road on Friday night. The deceased, Gopi Chand of Bhankharpur village, ran a welding shop at Hallo Majra. The deceased’s son, Deepak, said a passerby rang up to tell him that his father had met with a mishap near Seth Dhabha. He reached there and rushed his injured father to the PGI where he died during treatment on Saturday. A case has been registered. TNS

Chandigarh: The Drug Deaddiction Society of Post Graduate Government College, Sector 46, observed International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. BCom exam timings changed

Chandigarh: Keeping in view the clash of BCom examination and Chartered Accountant (CA) examinations, Panjab University has changed the timings of all BCom examinations from evening session (1.30 pm to 4.30 pm) to morning session (9.30 am to 12.30 pm).
